100th Statuto Race
100th Statuto Race
As of September 20, 2021. Please check back, as this information may be expanded and updated.
Participant health and safety is our top priority. Consistent with this priority, please note the following procedures for race day:
All race-day activities will take place outside the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club (SFIAC) building, which is located at 1630 Stockton Street, San Francisco. You will need to enter the SFIAC only if you will be attending the post-race brunch or to use the restroom.
Bib pickup will be outside the SFIAC, starting at 7:30 am. There will be no race day registration.
T-Shirt and goody bag distribution will be outside the SFIAC.
There will be an abbreviated awards ceremony, with trophies awarded to the first overall male runner, first overall female runner, and the first SFIAC dues-paying club member. All age group awards will be mailed.
To allow for more participant spacing, the 2 Mile Walk will begin after the start of the 8K.
Participants are encouraged to wear masks during pre-race staging and post-race activities.
Please note that gear check will not be available.
Brunch Note: Consistent with San Francisco requirements, attendees at the post-race brunch (which will be inside the SFIAC) will be required to show proof of vaccination in order to be admitted.
For race day -- if you aren't feeling well on race day, or recently had close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 we ask that you do not attend the race. We will save your t-shirt and commemorative 100th Statuto Race medal and can mail it to you. Procedures to notify us will be posted closer to race day.
The Statuto Race starts at the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club (SFIAC), which is at 1630 Stockton Street (between Union and Filbert) in San Francisco. This is located in North Beach across the street from Washington Square Park and is accessible by many MUNI bus lines, including 8, 30, and 45. For a MUNI map, click here.
